Arrington Group 1920s
Image kindly loaned by Grace Everson of Arrington.

Image: 1920s, posed group, quality of the available image (large print) is rated as 'excellent'.
Location: Unknown.

A group of Arrington villagers on an outing (?).

There is a suggestion that the group is of Wimpole Hall servants, estate workers and their families. The suggestion has also been made that the photograph was taken at Wimpole Hall, although I have been unable to find a matching location.

The left background appears to be 'estate' countryside, the central location is an ornamental stone staircase which appears to go to a higher level beyond the group and the building on the right appears to be a house of reasonable quality and vintage. Any ideas?

Please e-mail if you can put any names to the faces.
